William Hill Estate Winery
Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon
Lots of jammy fruit bursts on the tongue...black cherry, plum, hints of cassis. A little earthiness rolls up on the backend, smooth as silk. Quite the seductress tempting me with her black velvet. There's a subtle intensity underlying the quiet silk. You have to reveal the layers slowly to find the luscious center. Well worth it.

Oct 28th, 2015Lots of plum notes. Not a traditional Cab, but good for an everyday wine.

Jan 22nd, 2016Smoke and baking spices with fresh notes on the nose. Dark fruits and pepper on the taste, but too tanniny for me. Needs time to open up for me to like it more.

Jan 6th, 2016Lots of smoke and oak on the nose and tastes of ripe dark cherries, plum and anise. Dark ruby red and very dense with minimal light passing through the bowl. There is a small presence of legs on the glass. Medium tannin and with a good lasting finish. Would be great with some cherry scones or some fresh barbecue to pair well. To contrast the taste I would recommend something sweet like a vanilla custard tart with a fresh fruit compote.
