2012 Napa/Sonoma closeout Chardonnay face-off. If you were going to make a movie theater popcorn flavor of chewing gum, you’d want to drink the William Hill before you started just to make sure you got it right. It’s a Willy Wonka expression of malolactic fermentation. The Iron Horse brings more precision along with more restraint. Focused stone fruit infused with lemongrass and lychee lead the way to a lime and mineral driven finish.
