Translucent deep garnet glass with a pale red violet rim. On the medium light nose, cherry, blackberry, earth, vanilla and wood. Tart and juicy but light bodied to the palate highlighting a soft cherry and raspberry predominance with hints of strawberry. Finishes long with soft small tannins and tangy tart cherridom. Nice balance but less structure than some. Good value at $16.33 USD and works with light food or as a conversation sipper.

Grape juice would be an accurate description. Didn't have much body

Really surprising full flavored wine from 2014.....very much like a Beaujolais Nouveau.

I’ve previously used this as my default Pino for a number of years as I knew the taste and price point was a fair balance. Either I’ve changed or the complexity of this Pino has because it’s not as appealing in recent years, the fruit or grape is just that, without the subtle blending of earthy flavors I’ve experienced in the past. It seems to have lost that complexity around 2014 perhaps a year earlier but I shall continue to try a bottle every now and again in hope the spark returns.

Good timing on this one, seems more nuanced than a few months ago, maybe currant, hints of vanilla.
