Amazing glowing color. Super dark color. Blackest blackberry, spice and licorice in big bodied Pinot ... But do t even think it gets too heavy or loses its Pinot character. A standard bearer for Oregon Pinot Noir

I’m not a big Pinot girl but this is pretty balanced and very drinkable. I think it also helps that I’m drinking this in the vicinity of the Willamette and I feel cool getting to drink a pre Jacksonified WillaKenzie. Earthy and a little savory, good red fruit. A lovely amount of age on it. Bright acidity, soft tannins that still hold up like a warm embrace from a plush but virile old person.

Licorice is really coming up as the wine gets older, still dark fruit blackberries/Plum still a good pepper finish, have only a few bottles left!
