Gamay grown on granite. That's not news. Gamay on granite from the Pays Nantais in the Loire - now we're getting sonewhere. Surprising depth of fruit, compelling minerality. This is great.

Started off a little disjointed and a lot funky. Came together over about 30-60 minutes, but kept up that white pepper funkiness. With a little carbonic on top.
