Jun 25th, 2017This wine was a gift 3 yrs ago. I'm having ribeye steaks tonight so I thought it's time for this one. Not bad at all. Has a dark ruby color with some rusty hues. Bouquet of toffee and dried berries with a hint of sweet smoke. Starts off on the palette with cassis and dark cherry. Finished with some cola notes. Lingers with peppery spice. Very mild tannins so it's easy drinking. Went great with the ribeye and creamed spinach. Yes. I cook all my own meals from scratch. ;)
