Very tropical in classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc fashion. Grapefruit and fresh grass highlight this smooth and savory sauv blanc. Mild peppery finish with overtones of tropical fruit. After drinking a third of the bottle, we put it in a pitcher and kept it in the fridge for a few hours before coming back to it, which did wonders for the flavor. It opened the wine up quite a bit, and we all agreed it tasted much better the second time around. I recommend opening and letting it sit before drinking.

I believe it is my first wine of the 2015 vintage, and if the rest of the vintage will deliver such pleasant wines, we are off to a good start. This NZ SB, is more on the grassy side then on the tropical one, yet it is nice and fresh. Light green color, nose of kiwi, green grass, fresh cut grass, lime and grapefruit, medium body with crisp acidity and a fresh finish. Pleasant wine. My score 87, drink to 2019

Crisp, refreshing, with big citrus and mineral notes. Nothing delicate about this Sauv although I do appreciate the boldness and acidity in this wine.
