Some moments are there for you to savor. It was a glorious sunset and we relished every moment of this special wine made by the late Jesus Guillen. Such a gorgeous wine and vintage, the 2012 White Rose ‘The Neoclassical Objective’ Pinot Noir (WWB, 93) is now very gradually evolving towards tertiary black truffle and forest floor tones. At the forefront remains beautiful amalgamation of red and dark fruits, with bright acidity and lighter citrus rind tones. The combination of freshness and texture is truly outstanding, as light tannins line the core of fruits, with a touch of clove and exotic spice. With excellent length, this beautiful wine has a long life ahead of it despite being eight years of age. Drink 2020-2032- 93

A fun wine- all whole cluster and decidedly funky in that way. Also very grapey. #atechnicalterm

Nothing spectacular anymore. Fruit almost gone but at 2012 expected despite controlled storage - sad!

May have opened this one far too soon (running low on options with the holidays winding down!), but it still possessed some lovely whole-cluster funk on the nose, balanced weight on the palate, and a decidedly fruity and rewarding finish. With more time to evolve in bottle, this will be a classic.

Very nice balance of flavors. Much more of a traditional Pinot Noir.

A "bold" Pinot that paired very well with shredded beef--and even better with a fresh cherry tart! A little tannic but very enjoyable with food.
