Try to make a trip to Westport Rivers annuals but unfortunately didn’t make it in 2018. Luckily, we held this bottle in the cellar since 2017 and finally decides to drink it tonight. Brioche & caramelized sugar on the nose, ripe summer strawberry on the palate. Salinity that I associate with the WR wines. Lotsa effervescence. They know what they’re doing, and it’s great. Still tastes like wine from coastal northeastern US but made very well.

Great Sparkling Wine is made on the East Coast! Bubbly Chardonnay/Pinot Noir blend with strawberry, cherry and brioche notes. Hint of orange zest and saline. Creamy texture with some white flowers on the nose. Beautiful pink hue. Blended this with Westport Rivers Sweet Vermouth, which made a great Sparkling Wine Cocktail! Revisited in March 2020. Same opinion as above. Enjoyed as the base for Mimosas! Revisited again in July 2021. Just fantastic!!
