A pleasant surprise for a varietal merlot. Juicy cherry and raspberry in the mouth with a hint of clove in the finish. Plus a rich mouth feel and a plumminess suggesting perhaps a little Cabernet? Balanced fruit, acidity and alcohol. Positively quaffable.

Really good merlot! Deep purple color. Aromas of blackberry, fig, cherry and cedar. Cranberry, cherry and a tobacco finish.
