Pale straw gold with green highlights. Shy nose (on opening) of yellow apple, echoed on the medium film-bodied palate with honeyed stone. Firm backbone of acidity throughout, balances the drier-than-expected off-dryness. Pork chops or sausage dishes are it’s friend. As is almost everything else.

Jul 18th, 2018Light gold hue. Aromas of honey, honeysuckle, peach, pear, petrol. Medium body with medium acidity. Stone fruit flavors on the palate. Medium length finish, with a lingering backend. Tasty as a complement to white meat and light dessert.

Honeysuckle notes with some residual sugar. Wonderful on its own but would pair quite nicely with food.

Feb 1st, 20182011, Willi Schweinhardt, Langenlonsheimer Rothenberg Spatlese, Nahe, Riesling. This was surprisingly good. Great acidity, tangerine, lime zest, apricot and just enough residual sugar.
