Does gruner get any better than Pichler?! I think not! A Refreshing with bracing acidity and gorgeous minerality. Textbook gruner from one of the true masters. Paired with a white asparagus & poached egg dish.

Just not in the league with its bigger siblings. Solid, varietal typicity is there, but not the finish or viscosity I am accustomed to with these folks.

An awesome wine... Great expression of slate, mentholated apple slices with succulent acidity. An excellent maiden voyage into Austria. I'll be journeying down these roads more.
