Spätlese trocken Weisser Burgunder

My first 1/2 bottle was doa but this was a reminder how rebholz makes some of the best Pinot Blanc in the world.

Ripe, juicy melon and bruised apple. Very smoky on palate-almost orange-y

Wine#5 at Saison paired with pumpkins three ways: fermented with pumpkin seed oil, grated with shaved dried octopus, fire roasted with whipped buttermilk. Actually a im Sonneshen Weber Burgunder made of Pinot Blanc.

I am weak to this kind of stuff!
