My first Lagrein and I have to say I really liked it. Medium ruby in the glass with a rich nose of all the dark fruit goodness you want. Plums and blackberries dominate, along with pronounced coffee aromas. Beautifully crafted, there’s a great combination of fruit and earthiness here. Crisp and acidic, it’s medium bodied with graceful tannins. Cloves, more plums, oak, smoke, and mocha chocolate show on the palate. An outstanding wine.

Agree with all previous ratings! My first Lagrein - leather, tannins, but with medium mouth feel / enough acid to put a pep in your step. Would def buy
