Tense, mineral, edgy. A focused wine that has great lift to it. Gained a pleasant damp, chalk-like earthiness with air that added to the complexity.

If mineral water was as addictive as crack cocaine, this would be your fix. As I sip, a full-on hologram of the limestone pops ups and spins for my viewing pleasure. Calling this extraordinarily vivid would be an understatement akin to saying Usain Bolt is quick.

Rather smitten with this. Sniffed and nursed it for ages. A little tame when first opened, before some very attractive orchard blossom floral notes emerge, with some tropical and stone fruits. Only about medium bodied and the mineral element - a clean, pure mineral water character, complete with suggestion of spritzy liveliness - almost seems to keep the fruitiness demure as it builds and extends through the long palate. And the fruit is beautiful - pineapple, peach and lime, crisp and fresh.

Fresh, clean, VERY mineral driven, nice length. A bang for the buck, although its 16 Euros here in Germany. But it will outperform many other wines on the entry level by far.
