Weingut Keller
Rheinhessen Trocken Riesling
A wonderful way to be introduced to Keller. Always consistent but a little more “oomph” in this vintage .

Dec 17th, 2020Punches far above its weight as expected. Vibrant and racy citrus with impressive texture, weight, and length. All while remaining crystalline and transparent.

Oct 16th, 2020Aromas of peach, herb and lime. Palate is peachy and delicious with medium minus acidity. Good intensity - tastes off dry but still at 12% ABV. 2nd night acid a little more obvious. The Keller quality shines through even in their lesser Cuvées. Enjoyed my last bottle 104 weeks later on 16th July 2022 with similar notes. Peach notes on nose and palate.

Jul 14th, 2020Nice Riesling - but I never understood the ultra hype on the Keller wines. This is his basic wine and is just that basic. Citrus driven, white peach powerful acid and a hint of stone fruit. It lacks back palate interest.
