for a Riesling from an "overripe", "flabby" vintage designate, this guy is astonishingly well-structured...super precise...focused...see what magic can happen when Riesling meets limestone...dare I say sublime? I do!

2011 was not the best year but this wine did a nice job for the prime material Keller had to work with. Precise, nice minerality and decent acidity. Stone fruits (peach, apricot) on the nose, and a little bit on the palate. Lacked the body one would hope for in a Keller Riesling, but that flabbiness was more due to the vintage than the maker.
