First of the Ludes 19’s. Wow. What a nose. Pulverized lime rock candy, slate, and mega minerals. Exuberant. Some sweet lime as well. 9.5% alcohol so guessing this is a feinherb. Gorgeous intensity and airiness. Stunning. Just classic Mosel beauty. Palate is terrific. So elegant and with just pitch perfect sweetness and insane freshness. Terrific acids. Like a lime sweet tart. But stoney. Terrific mid palate heft. Lovely almost velvety tannins one the slatey/sweet finish. Terrific wine. Did I say terrific?

Candied fruit on the nose, palate is effortless, balanced. Pear, stone fruit, slate, tempered acidity. Delicious wine.

Gorgeous. A little smoky/flinty, lime, pear, orchard fruits, great concentration.
