Beinstein Zweigelt

Love this wine. Spices, berries, black cherries, black pepper, white pepper, palate has dark yet tangy and fresh fruit with terrific energy and purity. Juicy and with terrific cut and acidity. So focused. Like a laser. Very very clean. Nice structure suggests ability to short term age. Maybe 3-4 years.

Such a great Zweigelt. Super spicey, mineral, graphite nose. Palate is fresh and dynamic with terrific concentration and sweet tannins. Finished very mineral. Terrific.

This is 2015 Leon Gold Zweigelt Beinstein. Leon is a true talent with red wine. Some of the most refined reds in all of Wurrtemberg. Nose of mint, moss and hints of dark berry fruit. There's a serious mineral element as well. Palate is again so refined and exceptionally balanced. Juicy with great structure. Bright yet somewhat dark as well if that makes sense. Really long and vibrant. Extraordinary wine. Brilliant. It's amazing how dee and mineral this is. @Delectable Wine please add these to the "Wurrtemberg" category. Dark juicy plums and cherries with some graphite notes, some stewed/fried plums and a pinch of cloves & cinnamon. Quite refined
On the palate this is super smooth, polished, juicy with sappy acidity, very fine tannins and fresh dark fruit. There’s a spicy mineral edge to it too.
Complete, elegant and so fresh & juicy. It just begs for another sip. Delicious stuff and much better than your average Austrian Zweigelt.
