A more powerful PN, yet very elegant st the same time. Engaging nose of roast coffee, wet stones, dark fruit, cream and a whiff of exotic spices and dried tangerine peel.
On the palate silky & smooth, seamless. A round mouthfeel but with purity of fruit and juicy acidity. The tannins are dusty and really fine, the 17m of barrel aging (small & large barrels) perfectly integrated. Works really well with some mature hard cheese.
