Just a stunning bottle of wine. The nose leaps out of the glad with bright, clearly defined mid season cherries. Gorgeously elegant and earthy with mineral notes that are so utterly refined you can almost smell the vines in that Alpine air. Wild flowers, so intense and pure. So supple and juicy with unreal juuuust almost not quite but barely sweet fruit which no one does like Adank. The most supple and velvety texture and finishes so delicately mineral it’s whispering. This is a stunning wine and for the $60 we sold it for one of the greatest Pinot Noir values ever. Adank is a giant.

Jun 13th, 2025What a nose, slate and dirty reduction, unreal florals and depth, 15% whole bunch, roses, violets, such depth and so pretty, so juicy and so clean, ripe and juicy and significant tannic structure, delicate, big acid and wonderful freshness. keeps tannins in the mouth big time, long , this is a cellarable wine. As this aired the tannins became more silky and the fruit sweetened up but it became not sweet but barely sweet. Compelling wine and one of the best Swiss Pinots.
