Königsberg der Riesling

Pale lemon with typical fruit and floral Riesling nose. On the palate very fruity flavors of peach and apricot flavors with a wet stone mineral tone. Ok balance with acidity gets a little crisp on medium finish. Good value. Tasting Sample.

I'm a Riesling addict I think. This Austrian Riesling is the shit.. like, damn. The nose is always where my infatuation begins, kinda like in Amarone - I'll know by the smell if it's gonna be good. The aromas were pretty classic - wet slate, rubber hose, Meyer lemon. The wine was a pretty straw yellow, with a touch of sugar similar to Kabinett - apricot jam, beeswax, mandarin orange peel, and keylime juice. Very refreshing, and paired wrll with a simple meal of baked salmon, garlic rice, and broccolini.

Lovely summer sipper.

Fairly aromatic but less than a kabinett. Mineral notes and some citrus. Not dry, moderate acidity, clean finish.

2015 vintage in march 2017. Stone fruit. Fresh pear. Balanced. Soft sweetness balanced by apricot like acidity

Compex, beeswax, cured meat, white pepper, tons of lemon, rocky minerals, salty. Nice savory one.
