Lovely creamy nose. Slate, ripe green apple, honey, citrus. Very complex. Palate is perfectly dry with nice opulence and exquisite balance. Great fruit and freshness. Classic Kabinett Trocken. Lipsmacking and very pure.

Revisiting this several days later and at warm room temperature. Wow. White grapefruit. Still complex and interesting. Nice wine.

The crisp, mouthwatering green apple/lemon-lime side of Riesling in spades. Needs several hours of air time to show itself. So crisp and pure. Underlined with clean slate. Very distinctive. Will live for years and years.

This is a striking wine. Exuberant nose -- underripe peach, green apple, cracked stones, and a slightly musky floral note. Very lively in the mouth. Super bright green appley fruit shot through with stony minerality. Great acids and a long finish. So nice now, yet it's clearly still tight. This will get better over the next 5 or more years.

Really excited to try this wine. Delicate and mineral nose with loads of vineyard peach, apricot and a whole mess of slate. Lovely refinement of the aromas. Palate is very dry, elegant and full of beautiful minerals and some fruit in the background. Even some salt/slate on the long finish. Terrific wine. Glad to have Weingut Clemens as part of the cabal.

Very dry wine. Good acidity. Actually great acidity. Nose a bit muted and in general most 2013 Mosel wines are a bit closed at the moment. 2014 is much more open. Good power and concentration. Very impressive but needs 3-5 years. Really persistent. Sneaky.
