Deep nose then very perfumed with sappy mid season cherries. Superbly mineral and elegant. Precise. Airy and my god this is mineral. Palate is elegant, taut and structured with lovely purity. Sour cherry and early season cherry dominate and it’s very tangy with lovely crunch. Nice inner mouth aromas and juiciness. Seems a bit closed on the backend where the tannins firm up and show intense stoney mineralIty. They are very fine tannins tho. Needs at least an hour of air or maybe more. This and the wine before have terrific structure. Long finish that has sweet fruit and tang. Fleshes out with air and the finish is even more expansive. 9.2 to 9.3. Engaging, full of energy and freshness. Terrific balance and mouthfeel.
