Never get enough Spatburgunders at home. If this were Burgundy, people would call it “masculine.”

Sep 30th, 2023Smooth and fruity, with a slightly bitter sweetness. Mellow finish with a subtle lingering cherry.

Mar 26th, 2022Fresh & sappy, springs out of the glass with ripe raspberry, red currant, a bit of rhabarbar, with a fine woody note. Light yet quite seductive.
On the palate very fine & very fresh with juicy, zippy acidity, with the tannins framing the sappy fruit very nicely.
This is drinking beautifully already now. Delicious stuff!

Jun 23rd, 2021Simple but very well made. Lovely terroir and fruit— definitely villages level. Drinking well now & could evolve a bit but probably not intended for long haul (unlike other bottlings!).
