Vintage 2022 | Expressive, peat, very high bitters and therefore imo dinnerwine. Actually lacks balance.

Lean, but fun Pinot from just across the Alsacian border.

Never get enough Spatburgunders at home. If this were Burgundy, people would call it “masculine.”

Smooth and fruity, with a slightly bitter sweetness. Mellow finish with a subtle lingering cherry.

Fresh & sappy, springs out of the glass with ripe raspberry, red currant, a bit of rhabarbar, with a fine woody note. Light yet quite seductive.
On the palate very fine & very fresh with juicy, zippy acidity, with the tannins framing the sappy fruit very nicely.
This is drinking beautifully already now. Delicious stuff!
