Mölsheim Riesling

This bone-dry Riesling shows loads of green apple fruit, crushed rock, and some pleasantly, sponti-tinged, petrolly scents on the nose. Fresh, broad, and very minerally in the mouth, increasing as the finish goes on. Not for those who like fruity Rieslings, but very well done.

Beautiful pale color. Melon, lemon peel, crisp and light with great structure. Acid backbone and a little bit of pineapple in the finish.

Sensory overload. Bury your nose in this, after it has been open for awhile. Like getting run over by Khao San Road. Agree with others, super long. This was my 2nd bottle - so much better this time around, as the last was shy and floral, vs the exoticism of this one. Delicious.

I could sniff this for hours. Yeasty sponti-ness, incredible cracked stone minerality lime-spritzed green apple juice. So intensely flavored and long yet light and moutwatering. Great dry Riesling. And great value.

Great nose: slightly funky yeastiness, bright stony minerals, and that pure and fresh wonderful grapey/peachy fruit. Loads of flavor. Tons of cracked stone dust infused into pure apply fruit, bone dry and with excellent acids. Great value from Fass Selections. Delicious. (These are night 2 notes.)

The wine that gets better every vintage. Confections abound when popped and poured and then it settles into its floral/nutty/honey aromas beautifully. All of this framed by a slab of limestone. Also a verbena/green tea aroma adds complexity. Unbelievable texture. So silky and soft yet buffered by a taut spine of acidity that is so well integrated it only reveals itself on the finish. Great concentration Long finish with honey, tangerines and minerals. What finesse and sophistication here. Drop dead.

Huge nose. Mineral, honey, lavender, flowers. Chewy, bigger than HS. Good power and concentration. Lovely inner mouth aromas. Dense and bit young. Amazing complexity and finishes with some spice. Really delineated and fresh.

Wow. Just fabulous. Just goes on and on and on. Beautiful nose, chalky and dry. I could drink a whole lot of this! Thanks for sharing, brother.

Wow. Just wow. The original inspiration to open Fass selections was to be able to sell a 20-25 dollar Riesling with some fruit that really showed what the heap could do. This wine delivers on that hope. Lemon and mineral nose. Great depth on the palate. Complex. Balanced. Just a great wine. Bought from Fass selections.

Regal nose and texture. Fairly full and ripe for a Trocken with good structure. Long finish. Should get better through the years.
