Eisquell Riesling

Boisterous nose. Barely ripe peach. Total acidity is bananas. Insanely fresh and angles. Fresh, high acid and delicious creamy fruit. Long. Tactile. Juicy and clean. So nimble and also forceful. Stunning.

Always such an incredible value. Honeyed citrus on the nose. Tangelo? Blood orange. So clean and abundant minerality. Juicy, and I mean really juicy, elegant and clean. Sappy and pure. Refreshing. Also a hint of nougat and a wonderful bit of opulence in the midpalate. So good. Lovely intense minerals and such purity. A terrific wine.

I am low key obsessed with these wines. @Severn Goodwin this is the one you saw in the background of my other rating. A very Fass-y week last week for me hahah

Wow! First Battenfeld 2019 and this is sick! Superb confectionary nose like God dropped down from the sky the best cotton candy ever. Amazing peach flesh and peach skin. Apricot. Superb minerals. Luscious and juicy with awesome freshness and minerality. So alive and engaging. Commands your attention. Concentrated and so pure with peach, apricot fruit and hella minerals. So balanced and pure. Just a brilliant Gutsweine. What energy and inner mouth aromas. Sappy and terrifically deep but also just insanely refreshing, linear and mineral.

Two note hit - slate and lemon balm. Peaches and cream wafting in the background. Soft texture, straightforward and pleasant.

Solid.
