The wine maker says: ”No toasted barrels, no oak flavoured powder” etc. Not sure about what the “powder” comment is all about? But this wine needs some characteristics that make it appear to be a Chardonnay Vs SA Sauvignon Blanc. If this was labeled a SavBlanc it might’ve received a higher rating.
Give me my tropical fruit, my honey my smooth toasted oak finish & pollute it with whatever you want! But make it taste less acidic and gooseberry. I’ll look for good Sav Blanc to fit that need! #winecollective
