The wine maker says: ”No toasted barrels, no oak flavoured powder” etc. Not sure about what the “powder” comment is all about? But this wine needs some characteristics that make it appear to be a Chardonnay Vs SA Sauvignon Blanc. If this was labeled a SavBlanc it might’ve received a higher rating.
Give me my tropical fruit, my honey my smooth toasted oak finish & pollute it with whatever you want! But make it taste less acidic and gooseberry. I’ll look for good Sav Blanc to fit that need! #winecollective — 5 years ago

Enjoyable! Smells of traditional Cali Chardonnay character-soft vanilla, pear, tropical fruits.
In mouth lemon cake into Creme Brûlée and end of Applewood. Paired excellently with seared Salmon, done with Old Bay seasoning and mayo-cucumber -dill drizzle 🤤🥂 #winecollective

Enjoyed this Sicilian offering! The Grillo and Viognier blend had great nose, mouth feel and the spectrum of flavours paired well with Shrimp Scampi and Linguine.
Front opens with white flesh orchard fruits, these flatten out to apricot, regaining flavour to tropical fruits including unripened mango, transitioning to hints of oak - white florals and ends with cleanse of lemon & stone.🥂
