The Waterford Rosé is a blend of; Shiraz, Mourvedre, & Tempranillo with about two hours of skin contact.
The nose reveals; blood oranges with rind, pink grapefruit, peach, strawberries, cherries, lean watermelon with withering pink roses.
The body is fuller for Rosé. The fruits are a bit gluey. The fruits are nicely ripe. Blood oranges with rind, pink grapefruit, peach, strawberries, cherries, lean watermelon with withering pink Rosés. There is crispy minerality and nice grainy chalkiness. The acidity is good the finish is well polished but, there is no wow factor here.
Photos of; the Waterford tasting bar, center courtyard with fountain, Sofia in the lounge area where we had our tasting and large tasting table for 6 people or more.
