Trying a late night Chardonnay! Walt 2010 La Brisa Sonoma , on first try I get almost a Sauternes nose and flavors of apricots , pineapple, and citrus fruit. This is golden yellow. I call it Pee Yellow (sorry) that's is the color. It has bright acidity, good underlying flavors. I think this chard 2010 is borderline past its peak! You tell me. Other more recent Walt Chards have really shown well. Need to try more from them. CB 89!

This was was awesome from start to finish. The pour was a beautifully golden color. The scent was of vanilla and oak. The taste was exactly as it looked and smelled.
