Long live the '11s! This is showing so well right now. Blue fruits, mushroom and a touch of umami.

Big perfume of roses, earth, lavender, white pepper, w/ raspberry, cranberry, bing cherry, in the mouth and orange peel-mushroom-y finish. Started leathery and tannic; acidity & fruit exploded over 2-hours. Delicious w/ boar shank. Gorgeous, complex pinot @Brian Mast #mendocino #andersonvalley

Well, it looks like I'm one of the first people to rate the 2011. Very tasty, with a bit more pepper and spice than I recall in the 2010. And a tad more acidity than 2010, which suits my style. Great work Brian!
