We opened this excellent sparkler just before New Year’s, and everyone present was impressed; I neglected to mention that this superlative supper was priced at less that $10! Afterwards I tried to buy a case but it was removed from my cart in real time as it sold out! I must now wait for WTD Cuvée #2 😼

Yeasty, doughy, baked apple, lemon curd, apricot, wet rock... clean fruit and lively minerality with a solid bead. Vintage sparkling is ballsy. Happy Friday!
