It's a Villanyi Franc, so that about covers it! Excellent representation of the typical Villanyi style -- light, balanced, but still pleasantly tannic and tart and full of mature berries and fruit. Hard to take your nose away from the glass and actually drink it :-)

It was actually much lighter than expected but went well with goose foie gras and cherried duck. The cab franc from Eger I had that night was more bodied and powerful.
