The color on this South African blend of Merlot, Cab Sauv and Cab Franc is a deep plum. On the nose is dark fruit, plum, black raspberries. On the palate is black raspberry, unripe plum, cassis, sandy tannins and a vegetal note. Not bad for a South African Bordeaux blend.

Drank last night. Tasted off. A little funky/vinegary. At first I thought it might have a rubbery scent/flavor, but just decided it probably turned. Wasn't very excited about it to begin with. It was recommended by a shop owner in Cape Town who had criticized the wines Gabe and I liked.
