A close friend recommended I try this Chardonnay from South Africa a producer who he knew from years ago when he lived in South Africa. I opened the bottle and the aromas were wonderful. The first notes were of Grapefruit, and Banana. After swirling a minute or so more fruit came wafting out. I got Orange, pineapple and melon. On the palate was very expressive. The fruit kept coming, Apple, Pear, lemon curd, banana, crisp fresh good sharp acidity, more citrus notes and minerality. I was glad to try this wine and I look forward to reporting back to my friend that this Chardonnay is a winner.
