A dense dark crimson with a hint of a tawny rim. Sweet vanillin on the nose and some of that oaky influence with black fruits. Barb found Loam and Cherry. A classic Margaret River Cabernet Merlot from a good vintage. The Cellar experience and manicured grounds are second to none if you are ever visiting Margaret River.

Mid to deep crimson in colour. Notes of black olive, geranium, red capsicum (peppers). Very dusty and herbaceous. More savoury than fruit driven. Next one in a year. Definitely the most lavish cellar door in Margaret River and a must visit if you are in the District. Had another bottle 70 weeks later on 11th April 2022 with consistent notes - say 91 points.

Nose of blackberry and mulberry together with Margaret River herbaceousness. Charred oak notes as an accompaniment not dominating. Medium weight palate with a degree of elegance. Touch of astringency. Could have done with more mid palate fruit. Drink remaining 3 bottles in next few years. Definitely the most palatial cellar door and grounds in Margaret River and a must visit in a trip to the region. No expense spared.

Notes of mulberry cedar and tomato leaf. Medium + bodied with a hint of Capsicum amongst the restrained berry fruit. A nice balance between savoury and fruit characters all blended into a more restrained style with trademark Margaret River herbaceousness. A long future in front of it.

Young for 10 years of age. Rich red/purple tinges. Cassis and black currant with some mint/Herbal notes. Same on palate with a mulberry note. Expected a little more complexity from the maker and the vintage. The first one from a 6 pack. Another 5 years in the cellar will be ok.

Excellent, excellent WA cabernet dominant blend; shows Margaret River's dominance of Australian cabernets; shows tobacco and black fruits flavours; undoubtedly now dry with a tannin backbone rarely found in Oz cabernet; then juicy, taut acids too to show further longevity; drink til 2025; little colour dropoff

Voyager's flagship red from the good 2005 vintage. Typical alluring Marg River Cab nose but a surprising light weight palate which brings into question it's longevity. This is the 2nd of 6 and I will need to drink the remainder in the 12 to 18 months. 17-

Super impressive and still looking mighty youthful. Just ripe fruits, earthy, touch of the Aussie bush and subtle oak notes all the mix. Acid and tannin still providing the scaffolding that we will see the age grandly. Persistent finish. Good stuff.
