Expensive but excellent Riesling, slightly sweet despite being Grosses Gewachs, and likely better to drink in a few years. Nectarine flavor followed by a crisp acidic finish. A complex wine. Wait for 30 minutes before consuming.

High-toned, glorious fruit, round and creamy, plenty of flesh with just enough spine. Velvet texture, lots of breadth across the palate, moves to a spice-laden finish. Fruit loops, candied citrus, peach and candied apple.

Cork was soaked through and made me nervous but this bottle was gorgeous from the first sip. Golden and rich color on this wine.
Usually this wine needs some airtime to come into its own but this one was great
Good stone fruits and a bit of pineapple. Sweetness and oak without any sugar.
Touch of lemon lime at the end

This is one of Germanys most famous vineyards and Von Winning has made a very vibrant, concentrated and age worthy wine from it. Bursting with lime, rocks, smoke and yellow fruits. Great texture.
