Grape candy and cheese rind. All about the secondaries. Very dry. Cool to taste this iconic producer's somewhat cerebral take on a sometimes overlooked grape. Welcome back to the VDP!

Feb 13th, 2016Great bottle! Lots of mineralogy! Rich, nice weight, long finish. 2011 vintage. Thanks, @Brett Zimmerman

Jul 17th, 2015A little plain, but incredible to see the red slate soils of this vineyard translated through the relative tabula rasa of Pinot Blanc. Imagine just the skeletal outline of minerality from the estate's Rieslings made manifest; the rocks walk the earth right into your mouth. Very clean with no botrytis. Plucky acid and middle-weight body, with a seamless texture.

Oct 10th, 2014A great value buy from GL at $13 bin end sale. Previous bottle was great. This one accidently frozen for 4 hrs couple weeks ago when forgotten in freezer for BYOW dinner, then thawed. Opened 9/9/18. Acidic and minerals on palate after impression of rocks and stone fruits and lemon on nose. Long acidic finish. Great with shrimp and should be for seafoods and others. Too bad likely last bottle.
