Scharzhofberger Spätlese Riesling

Unfortunately past its prime and no longer well balanced. The acidity was overpowering the sweetness.

Beautiful aromatics and fruit, but the lack of acidity makes it seem flat, almost like drinking pineapple juice.

2012 Saar Kabinett Trocken. Very playful aromas with pear, rubber, lime and maybe bits of caramel in the back. Lacks acidity, but in my opinion compensates that in aromatics somehow.
