Estate single vineyard. A dark and brooding Pinot, deep purple in color with fruit that also leans heavily purple. But the acidity brightens things up and keeps it lively and clean throughout. Great stuff.

Heaps of black cherry, and leather, minerals, and finished by a little bay leaf. Punches like a lean, fluid syrah. Pairs with dark and moody winter evenings more than summer picnics.

Feb 22nd, 2019Cresta Ridge single vineyard. This is a truly amazing wine. The word that kept coming to mind with every delicious sip was "pure". The purity of fruit was stunning, the mouthfeel silky but racy, and the finish a lasting impression.
