Great Pinot but this needs to sit for awhile.
Mar 27th, 2019Heat, bitter root, touch of herb and bay leaf on the nose. Sour cherry, botanicals, and bitter fruit flavors. Punchy, sour, and hot throughout. More luscious the 1st day. More chewy and pucker-y, the 2nd. Needs food to soak up the acid and let the fruit and finesse come through. It's an honorable mention, given the eyebrow-raising price. Don't rush to see it in the theater. Wait for dvd.
