Lodi Vermentino

Pale yellow white in color. Floral and citrus notes in nose. Lime, vanilla and floral flavors, some skin astringency in finish. Pleasant enough

Clean and crisp.

Hints of pear and green citrus. Very light acidity rescues it from impending flabbiness. No real faults. Just doesn't grab my attention. $9 @ Trader Joe's.

Pale yellow white in color. Slight floral and citrus notes in nose. Lime and Meyer lemon notes in mouth, maybe green citrus as well. Ultrafine (or slight?) skin astringency on finish. Fruit forward but dry, pleasant aperitif, maybe not enough acidity for a food wine, but debatably so. Good value, decent varietal character, deserves more love. Nice to see this varietal grows well in Lodi.

Had a rustic taste. Not crisp. Flavor lingered afterwards for a bit. Didn't care for this as much. Was better with food.

Decent white, but acidic, not sweet

Pale yellow color, light-medium bodied and nice acidity. Grapefruit and green citrus notes leading to an acidic lightly astringent finish. Love Vermentino and this is a good example at a great price.

Some lotion and pear. Clean. Crisp with nice acids and some nice tannic backbone. Bright with a bunch of character. Lemon bars and grapefruit cocktails.

Nicely balanced

Not very sweet, not very dry. Like an overpriced hotel room it's annoying and big.
