Juicy, charming, cherry-inflected slingshot of a wine. Crisp, light bodied, and rewarding with pizza. The label's Central Otago geography lesson is a bonus.

We picked this up from our local Liquorland for about $15 purely because there was an article making the rounds on Facebook claiming Pinot was a great match with Snickers choccie bars. We thought it'd be rude not to give the combo a go.

This 2014 Central Otago Pinot is a pretty plum colour on the eye with aromas of raspberry, cherry and black olives on the nose. The palate is bright and fresh with flavours of juicy cherries and I have to admit it was a spot on match with the Snickers!

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!

Just fine for Indian "take away" food in the cabin in Philip Island. Cherries- fresh and light. Just enough to warrant an early bedtime.

It is smooth and sweet, easy to drink. You'll enjoy it with your lovely people.
