Apr 17th, 2018Lots of minerality, dark apples on the nose, smells acidic. Smells hot too. Tastes refreshing, medium low body, a little dry, not much flavor though. A little red fruit on the mid palate but quickly fades to dryness

Jun 25th, 2017Actually Pinyolet. Coffee, black raspberry, smoke. Easy on the palate - opens up slow and pretty. Definitely decant but doesn't need more than an hour, and drinks fine right away. A little vanilla from the oak. Enough tannic structure for steak tacos or even cumin rosemary grilled lamb. Excellent value garnacha and solid through many vintages. If you lived in a small village you'd hope your local winemaker was this good. You don't though, and you're still lucky as hell to get this for its modest price. Also fantastic with a good friend and a free evening in the garden.
