This wine is a shockingly good value. It’s so pleasant you can take it anywhere and everyone will like it. Ripe black fruit with plum, black cherry, blackberry, and bramble. Medium acidity, 13% alcohol, juicy and satisfying. Just an easy wine that’s easy to like

Bierzo style for sure. A little more oak than I desire, but built well. It's just kinda boring.

Good fruit, acidity, moderate tannins- cherries with a little sour finish. This wine is good, and would go with a lot of food.

The nose of this wine has blackerries, black plums, with a hint of oak and leather. The palate has blackberries, black cherries, and plums with oakiness in the finish.

Tremendous value.

Not sure I understand the ratings on this wine. Price point was a pittance and this wine, while a bit over the top in style for typical mencia, had rich dark fruit character. If I had one criticism it would be the tannic structure which was intense but the fruit balanced it out.. I thought this wine was fantastic.

Its dry enough and middel enough not to get thrown out.
