Interesting wine. 100% mencia so very different. Dry earthy rustic. Open for a day it loses its vibrancy but retains a backbone of dark redness and an almost pate flavor. Interesting for sure.

13% booze, about $10, purchased. Perfectly good table wine that performs well above its standing. Why would you drink Cupcake when something like this is an option?

Dry with medium tannins that do not linger. I found the tannins not as subtle as I'm used to so it was a bit off for me at first. Overall, it is a good bottle for $9.
