Coulanges La Vineuse Pinot Noir

Soft AF Burgundy, finesse like a mofo, delicate and dry.

Solid. High acid and slight VA, earthy and barnyard flavors (but just the right amount to keep it interesting). Lots of minerality.

Hindbær, honning, tomat. Pinot. Høj syre. -Med. body. Bitter og jordet eftersmag.

This is the “Chanvan” bottling of VVV’s Coulanges la Vineuse. High VA, needed some air, but came around maybe 30 mins later. Nothing super complex about this wine but goes down easy.

Slightly funky but truly lovable red from Burgundy.

Initial smell very fruity, later smells funky and kind of musty. Tastes very light bodied, tannins pretty present, but also quite fruity in flavor. Good balance of tartness and sweetness. Gets sharper over time/at the bottom of the bottle. Easy drinking. Had at Terrorist wine bar in London.

Smooth, not flimsy, over-ripe strawberries, pepper finish
