Blackberry, raspberry, cherry, dark chocolate, vanilla, oak and hints of mint. Great structure and velvety tannins.

One of the best California Syrahs. 3% Viognier. Basket pressed. Unfiltered, unfixed. Violets, black fruits, dried apricots. Overture of herbal spices, honey and cocoa.

Some funk on the open. Blew off. Higher acidity than warmer years. I think this is a great representation of the essence of the vineyard. Silky. I believe this includes Angle fruit which really sets this up for a long life. Looking forward to enjoying this over the next 10+ years.

Large. Young. Fits the bill. Cote Rotie in style. Good structure but needs time to settle. Drink the 06 now. Revisit this in a few years.

Always a great wine. Full body with notes of black fruits and a decently long finish on the palate. Plenty of life to go.

Love that I know I had bottle 497/5244! Amazing Syrah and so glad we bought a few bottles. Can't wait to drink some more!
