The Essentials 29 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
This was firing on all cylinders. Great acidity and tannic structure. Truffled musbroom, pipe tobacco, ripe blackberry, dark cocoa shavings aromatics. Very clay driven on the palate surrounded by dark chocolate covered cherries. Small hint of dust. Obviously a little past prime, but certainly still kicking and showing well.

Excellent and well structured cab. All about those smoky notes with cedar and cigar box. Black cassis. This will age nicely.

+1 hour decant(lots of chunky/fine sediment). A prodigious inky dark purplish garnet color. On the nose: dark cherry, blackberry, wet forest floor, leather, vanilla, herbaceous. Taste: silky smooth, concentrated, juicy wine with dark cherry, tobacco, cedar, graphite, and a dried herb-chocolate espresso medium finish. YUM!
