This was firing on all cylinders. Great acidity and tannic structure. Truffled musbroom, pipe tobacco, ripe blackberry, dark cocoa shavings aromatics. Very clay driven on the palate surrounded by dark chocolate covered cherries. Small hint of dust. Obviously a little past prime, but certainly still kicking and showing well.

Best of this vintage to date, tobacco, truffle, cocoa nibs, cold roses, perfect tannins, and lots of fruit and acid left

Loved visiting Vineyard 29. Awesome wines by PMelka.

Excellent and well structured cab. All about those smoky notes with cedar and cigar box. Black cassis. This will age nicely.

Was a bit clunky but seemed to come together after a little air.

1 hour decant(decent fine/cloudy sedimen). A thrilling inky dark purplish garnet color. On the nose: subtle but beautiful notes of black plum, vanilla, floral, earth, and cassis. Taste: silky smooth, soft, elegant wine with black plum, cedar, touch of blueberry, earth, maybe a hint of black pepper, and a dark chocolate graphite finish. YUM!

45 min decant (some cloudy sediment). A bewitching dark ruby red color. On the nose: red fruit, dusty soil, floral, metallic, and cocoa. Taste: creamy, juicy, rich full body wine with dark fruit, leather, minerals, oak, mocha, and a herbal black pepper semi dry long finish. YUM!
